
In the postoperative period, the child must observe a home regimen during the day, in the next 10 days physical activity should be limited (outdoor games, physical education), overheating should be excluded, food should be gentle (warm, non-irritating food).
After surgery, many children continue to breathe through the mouth, although the obstacles to normal breathing have been removed. These patients need the appointment of special breathing exercises that help to strengthen the respiratory muscles, restore the correct mechanism of external respiration and eliminate the habit of breathing through the mouth. Respiratory gymnastics is carried out under the supervision of a physiotherapy specialist or at home after appropriate consultation.
